In order to improve weight distribution, Audi saw it fit to move the battery underneath the cargo floor. The all-new Q3 RS offers various options, with regard to the engine and wheel choices. The engine options include the base 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, 1.6-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine, and 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. All the engine variants come with a 7-speed automatic transmission i.e. the DQ500 7-speed dual-clutch unit from Audi. On the other hand, all variants come with all-wheel drive. The detuned engine is likely to allow for future improvements.
